“You’d Better Thank The Girl I Loved Last May” — It's a swinging comic love song in which the singer admits that some of the most crucial things his current partner appreciates about him are things his last partner taught him. It’s written in the tradition of the Great American Songbook, with a superb rhythm section underneath.
